The Ottawa Surgical Sleep Apnea Clinic is a Multi-Disciplinary Specialty Surgical Clinic, where patients receive a comprehensive evaluation for treatment of their obstructive sleep apnea. Specialists in both Otolaryngology and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery will provide a thorough, detailed history, physical examination, radiography and fibreoptic rhino-naso-pharyngoscopy, in order to accurately diagnose and treat your obstructive sleep apnea. In order to be seen in the Sleep Apnea Clinic, patients need to have the following:

• Been diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea by a Sleep Medicine Physician
• Have undergone an Overnight Polysomnogram Sleep Test
• Undergone, at minimum, a trial period of utilizing CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure)
• Determined that CPAP is not a feasible treatment option for them

Once in the clinic, a detailed proposed treatment plan will be provided to you, including possible non-surgical, and surgical, treatment options.
